Primus Cloud Solutions ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") operates FreakyFund ("Platform"), a reward-based crowdfunding platform. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information when you use our Platform.
By using FreakyFund, you consent to the data practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Provide
- —Account information: Name, email address, password, and profile details when you register an account.
- —Creator profile: Bio, social media links, category preferences, and other information submitted during creator onboarding.
- —Campaign content: Project titles, descriptions, images, videos, reward details, and funding goals submitted by Creators.
- —Communications: Messages, feedback, and correspondence you send to us or other users through the Platform.
2.2 Identity Verification (KYC) Data
Creators are required to complete identity verification through our third-party provider, Stripe Identity. During this process, the following data is collected and processed by Stripe:
- —Government-issued photo ID (passport, driver's license, or national ID)
- —Selfie photograph for biometric comparison
- —Full legal name, date of birth, and address
FreakyFund does not directly store your identity documents or biometric data. This data is collected, processed, and stored by Stripe in accordance with Stripe's Privacy Policy. We receive only the verification result (verified, pending, or failed) and a verification session ID.
2.3 Payment Information
All payment processing is handled by Stripe. When you make a contribution or connect a bank account for payouts:
- —Backers: Payment card details are collected and processed directly by Stripe. FreakyFund does not store, see, or have access to your full card number, CVV, or expiration date.
- —Creators: Bank account and payout details are collected by Stripe Connect. FreakyFund stores only your Stripe account ID to associate your account with payouts.
2.4 Automatically Collected Information
- —Device and browser data: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device type, and screen resolution.
- —Usage data: Pages viewed, features used, click patterns, session duration, and referral sources.
- —Cookies and similar technologies: We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. See Section 8 for details.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use collected information for the following purposes:
- —Platform operation: To provide, maintain, and improve the Platform, process transactions, and manage accounts.
- —Identity verification: To verify Creator identities for legal compliance and platform trust.
- —Payment processing: To facilitate contributions from Backers and payouts to Creators through Stripe.
- —Communication: To send transactional notifications (campaign updates, payment confirmations, verification status), respond to inquiries, and provide customer support.
- —Security and fraud prevention: To detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent activity, unauthorized access, and violations of our Terms of Service.
- —Legal compliance: To comply with applicable laws, regulations, and legal processes including anti-money laundering (AML) and know-your-customer (KYC) requirements.
- —Analytics: To understand how users interact with the Platform and improve the user experience.
5. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information:
- —All data transmitted between your browser and our servers is encrypted using TLS/SSL (256-bit encryption).
- —Sensitive data is encrypted at rest.
- —Access to personal data is restricted to authorized personnel on a need-to-know basis.
